Cruise Director

About the role

Legends Bistro Bar & Sports is seeking an experienced Cruise Director to join our hospitality team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests and managing the entertainment and activities programme across our venue. As Cruise Director, you will be the driving force behind guest engagement, entertainment coordination, and the overall atmosphere that defines the Legends Bistro Bar & Sports experience. This role is based in Bali and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, vibrant hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and coordinate entertainment events, activities and themed nights that enhance guest experience and drive footfall

• Manage relationships with entertainment providers, performers and activity coordinators to ensure high-quality programming

• Create and implement engaging activity schedules that cater to diverse guest preferences and seasonal demands

• Oversee the execution of events, ensuring seamless delivery and adherence to budgets and timelines

• Liaise with bar and kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage offerings alongside entertainment activities

• Monitor guest satisfaction and gather feedback to continuously improve entertainment offerings

• Manage promotional activities and marketing of upcoming events to maximise attendance and engagement

• Train and supervise entertainment and activities staff, fostering a collaborative and enthusiastic team environment

• Maintain detailed records of events, attendance figures and guest feedback for reporting purposes

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and venue policies during all events and activities

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in hospitality management, event coordination or entertainment management roles

• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing events and activities in a hospitality or tourism setting

• Strong knowledge of the Bali tourism and hospitality market, including understanding of guest preferences and seasonal trends

• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire both guests and staff

• Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative entertainment concepts and themed events

• Proficiency in budgeting and cost management to ensure events remain financially viable

• Flexibility and adaptability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the hospitality industry

• Excellent command of English; additional languages such as Indonesian or Mandarin are highly desirable

• Experience in using event management software and social media platforms for promotion
