About the role

Legends Bistro Bar & Sports is seeking a skilled and professional Butler to join our team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. As a Butler, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the premium quality and attention to detail that defines our establishment. This role is integral to our reputation as a premier hospitality destination in Bali.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised and attentive service to guests throughout their stay or visit, anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations

• Manage and oversee guest requests with efficiency and professionalism, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure prompt resolution

• Maintain impeccable appearance and conduct, serving as a brand ambassador for Legends Bistro Bar & Sports

• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out experiences

• Manage VIP and special requests with discretion and attention to detail

• Train, supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of excellence within the guest services team

• Monitor and maintain service standards across all guest-facing areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation

• Liaise between guests and other departments including food and beverage, housekeeping and management

• Handle guest complaints and concerns with diplomacy and professionalism, implementing effective solutions

• Maintain detailed records of guest preferences, special occasions and requirements for personalised service

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a butler, guest services or front office role within a luxury hospitality setting

• Proven track record of delivering exceptional, personalised guest service in upscale venues

• Excellent communication skills in English, with fluency in additional languages highly advantageous

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple guest requests simultaneously

• Professional demeanour and impeccable grooming standards befitting a luxury establishment

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, maintaining composure with difficult guests

• Knowledge of hospitality service protocols, etiquette and best practices

• Proficiency with hotel management systems and guest services software

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required

• Experience in the Bali hospitality market or similar luxury destinations would be preferred
