About the role

Legends Bistro Bar & Sports is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team in Bali. This is a full-time position based in our vibrant bar and sports establishment, where you will be at the heart of our guest experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, serving beverages with professionalism and flair, and creating memorable experiences for our diverse clientele. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards and energetic atmosphere that define Legends Bistro Bar & Sports.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and soft drinks

• Demonstrate exceptional mixology skills and knowledge of cocktail recipes, presentation techniques and flavour profiles

• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sanitised

• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately and offering informed recommendations

• Process payments and manage cash transactions with accuracy and integrity

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, reporting stock requirements to management in a timely manner

• Comply with all local liquor licensing laws, age verification requirements and responsible service of alcohol protocols

• Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service during peak trading periods and special events

• Maintain knowledge of current bar promotions, menu offerings and upcoming events to communicate effectively with guests

• Contribute to a positive, professional work environment and assist with training newer team members where appropriate

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Bartender in a busy hospitality establishment, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting

• Comprehensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, spirits, wines and beers

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and provide personalised recommendations

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Proficiency in handling point-of-sale (POS) systems and managing cash transactions

• Physical stamina to work standing for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and compliance with local licensing regulations

• Professional appearance and demeanour with a positive, energetic attitude

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

• Preferred: Bartending certification or qualification from a recognised hospitality training provider

• Preferred: Previous experience working in international hospitality environments or resort settings
