About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering professional to join our team on a full-time basis in Bali. This role is integral to ensuring our facilities operate at peak efficiency and maintain the highest standards of safety and performance. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of our electrical and electronic systems, supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on guest experience and operational excellence at our establishment.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain and service all electrical and electronic systems throughout the venue, including lighting, HVAC, kitchen equipment, and audio-visual installations

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they affect operations

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and equipment malfunctions promptly and efficiently

• Ensure all electrical installations comply with local safety regulations and international standards

• Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy-efficient solutions to optimise operational costs

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance

• Collaborate with vendors and external contractors for specialised repairs and system upgrades

• Support the implementation of new equipment and technology installations

• Respond to emergency situations and provide on-call support as required

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or relevant technical certification from a recognised institution

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting within hospitality, commercial, or industrial environments

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and electronic components

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment

• Sound understanding of safety regulations and best practices in electrical work

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness to perform hands-on maintenance tasks and work at heights when necessary

• Valid electrical licence or certification as required by local regulations

• Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training

• Experience with venue management systems, building automation, or smart technology would be advantageous
