Waiter/Waitress – Laïa Café & Spa, Ungasan

Laïa Café & Spa is looking for a friendly, responsible, and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team in Ungasan, Bali. Our café serves breakfast, lunch, coffee, and other beverages, with most of our customers coming from international backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet, and seat guests professionally

• Present menus and explain available food and drinks

• Take orders accurately and repeat orders for confirmation

• Ask about guest preferences, allergies, and dietary requirements

• Recommend menu items and assist with upselling

• Serve food and beverages promptly

• Monitor tables and respond to guest requests

• Handle guest complaints calmly and professionally

• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar during service

• Process payments and operate the POS or cashier system

• Maintain cleanliness in dining, service, and cashier areas

• Assist with basic drink or food preparation when required

• Support other team members during busy periods

• Follow opening, closing, hygiene, and service procedures

Requirements

• Previous waiter, server, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred

• Basic conversational English

• Confident communicating with international guests

• Friendly, polite, attentive, and professional

• Able to remember and communicate menu information

• Able to take complicated orders accurately

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Able to handle complaints without becoming defensive

• Experience using a POS or cashier system is an advantage

• Basic coffee or beverage knowledge is an advantage

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Willing to work in Ungasan, Bali

• Reliable transportation preferred

Employment Information

• Full-time position

• Shift starting times may include 07:00, 10:00, 12:00, or 14:00

• Three-month probation period

• Daily food allowance: Rp15,000 per working day
