Mining Stockpile Jr. Foreman

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily stockpile operations, including ore handling, stacking, and material management

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of stockpile inventory, volumes, and grades

• Ensure all personnel under your supervision adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols

• Conduct regular inspections of stockpile areas to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions

• Communicate operational updates and issues to the Stockpile Manager and relevant departments

• Coordinate with equipment operators to optimise stockpile logistics and material movement

• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members on operational procedures and safety standards

• Support the maintenance of equipment and facilities within the stockpile operational area

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of experience in mining operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role within stockpile management

• Strong knowledge of stockpile operations, including ore handling, segregation, and inventory management

• Demonstrated understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations relevant to mining operations

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting operational reports, stockpile grades, and production data

• Physical capability to work in demanding environmental conditions and challenging terrain

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends as required by operational demands

• Basic computer literacy for recording operational data and communicating with management

• A valid driver's licence is advantageous

• Preferably fluent in Indonesian language; English language skills are beneficial
