Trainer Operation

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programmes tailored to operational roles and skill levels within the organisation

• Assess training needs across operational departments and identify gaps in employee competencies

• Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring to support staff development and performance improvement

• Create and maintain training documentation, manuals, and learning materials relevant to operational processes

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics

• Maintain accurate records of training completion, certifications, and employee development progress

• Support induction and onboarding processes for new operational staff members

• Collaborate with operational management to align training objectives with business goals and safety requirements

• Keep abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to workplace training and assessment

• Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during training delivery

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification or certification in workplace training, adult education, or a related field

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programmes within an industrial, operational, or manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of assessment methodologies and competency-based training principles

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences

• Demonstrated ability to develop training materials and educational content

• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or training administration software

• Solid understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and standards

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with operational stakeholders

• Knowledge of the mining or minerals industry would be highly advantageous
