About the role

PT. Delta Jaya Mas is seeking an experienced Supervisor Production to join our manufacturing operations team in Gresik, East Java. This is a contract position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production facilities. As Supervisor Production, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, maintaining quality standards, and leading your team to meet operational targets. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering excellence in manufacturing and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily production operations to ensure targets are met on schedule

• Supervise production staff and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures

• Monitor product quality throughout the production process and implement corrective actions when necessary

• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review

• Identify inefficiencies in production processes and recommend improvements

• Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment and coordinate with maintenance teams when issues arise

• Conduct training and induction programmes for new production staff

• Manage inventory of raw materials and work-in-progress to optimise production flow

• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations

• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control standards and safety regulations

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting production plans and technical documentation

• Sound understanding of equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Indonesian

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Certification in occupational health and safety or relevant production qualifications is preferred

• Flexibility to work shifts as required by production schedules
