Structural Design Engineer

About the role

PT DyKa Konsultama is recruiting a Structural Design Engineer for our client. This role will support bidding and project implementation by preparing and reviewing structural designs, technical documents, and material requirements, particularly for SACME works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Request for Proposal (RFP) and Statement of Compliance (SOC) documents to support bidding and implementation.

• Prepare and review standard designs for SACME works.

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for SACME requirements.

• Prepare and review technical and material specifications.

• Conduct surveys of existing sites to collect information and identify Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical (CME) requirements.

• Prepare and review Purchase Requests (PR) and coordinate their progression to Purchase Orders (PO).

• Review partner qualifications against technical and project requirements.

• Resolve issues related to bidding, customer requirements, and project implementation.

• Coordinate with customers, internal business units, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain design quality and meet project deadlines.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization or relevant background in Structural Engineering.

• Good knowledge of international structural engineering standards, including American, British, and Japanese standards.

• Understanding of design codes for structures, foundations, concrete, and steel.

• Familiar with structural drawings and experienced in AutoCAD 2D/3D.

• Familiarity with SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and MS Tower is an advantage.

• Able to manage multiple project requirements under tight deadlines while maintaining design quality.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is an advantage.

• Ability to communicate in an additional language, preferably Mandarin, is an advantage.

• Strong teamwork and coordination skills when working with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
