Customs Clearance Specialist

About the role

PT DyKa Konsultama is recruiting a Customs Clearance Specialist for our client. This role will support import operations through customs coordination, licensing management, regulatory monitoring, and logistics partner performance reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with Customs authorities, particularly designated client managers at each port.

• Manage DGPT-related licensing and ensure imported goods have the required permits and documentation.

• Handle ATA and temporary import arrangements, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely return or re-export within applicable deadlines.

• Monitor changes in government regulations and communicate their impact on the client's business and import operations.

• Support annual Customs and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) audits.

• Conduct monthly performance reviews and coordinate communication with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs).

• Resolve customs-related operational issues and escalate matters when necessary.

• Prepare updates and reports on customs activities for the Customs Clearance Manager and Logistics Manager.

About you

• At least 2 years of experience in customs processes and customs audit support.

• Experience communicating and coordinating with government authorities.

• Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.

• Good interpersonal and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Good command of spoken and written English is mandatory.

• Strong interest in customs operations and regulatory compliance.
