Quantity Surveyor - Bandung - WFO (ID: 712139)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support construction projects through cost estimation, tender management, contract administration, and financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, material requirements, labor costs, and project timelines

• Prepare tender and contract documentation, including Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and evaluate contractor quotations

• Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and contractors

• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cost estimates on a regular basis

• Verify completed work and quantities on-site and review contractors' progress claims for payment

• Calculate, negotiate, and assess cost impacts arising from design or material specification changes

• Prepare periodic financial and cost reports

• Provide recommendations regarding claims, variations, and potential contractual disputes

• Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

About you

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma (D4) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or construction cost management, preferably with experience in high-rise building projects

• Proficiency in cost estimation, quantity measurement, and construction budgeting

• Familiarity with estimation/measurement software, Microsoft Excel, and/or CAD

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of tender documents, contracts, physical progress measurement, and payment processes

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost documentation and budgets

• Good negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

• Able to work effectively with multiple parties involved in construction projects
