Planning Specialist (Staff & Assistant)

About the role

Planning Specialist / Assistant Planning Specialist role responsible for production scheduling, delivery fulfillment, defect handling, capacity and inventory control, and cross-functional coordination in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and issue monthly, weekly, and daily production plans; monitor production plan achievement and boost target completion rates

• Organize regular production progress meetings and track meeting decisions

• Monitor internal and external production delivery fulfillment and coordinate issue resolution

• Evaluate delivery risks against production and oversee delivery risk mitigation plans

• Coordinate defective material (NG) handling and schedule rework/repair activities

• Manage production order issuance and closure

• Participate in production plan fulfillment evaluations and inventory control/analysis

• Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock

• Support Industrial Engineering (IE) in increasing internal production capacity

• Submit daily reports on NG stock, items pending repair, and warehouse scrap

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines

• Planning Assistant / Staff: 1–3 years of experience in production planning, PMC/PPIC, or workshop scheduling

• Planning Specialist: 3–5 years of solid experience in master production scheduling (MPS), capacity evaluation, and inventory planning in manufacturing

• Advanced English and Intermediate to Advanced Chinese

• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems

• Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities

• Solid understanding of production workflows and capacity calculations

• Strong cross-departmental coordination skills
