Assistant Information Operation and Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Assistant Information Operation and Maintenance Engineer supporting IT infrastructure, computer maintenance, network operations, and enterprise system implementation in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including office PCs, printers, and meeting room devices

• Resolve routine software issues (MS Office, OA, company email) while providing bilingual technical support in Mandarin and Indonesian

• Assist in maintaining local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, and low-voltage cabling

• Handle fundamental network troubleshooting and assist in server room device monitoring and logging

• Support the deployment and rollout of manufacturing and office enterprise systems (e.g., MES, ERP) across production areas

• Manage user account provisioning, permission management, system training, and user manual drafting

• Manage the IT asset inventory (computers, peripherals, and accessories) and track hardware check-outs/returns

• Conduct asset audits and maintain maintenance and incident resolution records

• Liaise between headquarters IT teams in China and local operational staff

• Translate technical documentation and system announcements

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT desktop support, network maintenance, or systems operation & maintenance (O&M) in a manufacturing environment

• Intermediate English

• Mandarin communication capability is preferred / required for technical liaison

• Hands-on proficiency with Windows/Server environments

• Hands-on proficiency with LAN/WAN setup

• Hands-on proficiency with printer and meeting room AV hardware

• Hands-on proficiency with IT asset tracking

• Exposure to enterprise ERP/MES platforms
