About the role

The Measurement Technician (Metrology / Calibration Technician) role involves measuring and testing product dimensions, technical specifications, and related parameters against engineering blueprints and inspection standards to ensure precision and data accuracy. You will oversee daily operation and maintenance of measuring tools and test equipment, manage calibration cycles, gauge inspections, and calibration ledger records to ensure all instruments remain within their valid service life. You will organize, compile, and record measurement data into statistical inspection reports, ensuring complete and accurate documentation. You will provide prompt feedback when measurements deviate or fail to meet tolerances and assist and collaborate with the Quality team in defect analysis, abnormality handling, and corrective action implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and test product dimensions, technical specifications, and related parameters against engineering blueprints and inspection standards to ensure precision and data accuracy

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of measuring tools and test equipment

• Manage calibration cycles, gauge inspections, and calibration ledger records to ensure all instruments remain within their valid service life

• Organize, compile, and record measurement data into statistical inspection reports, ensuring complete and accurate documentation

• Provide prompt feedback when measurements deviate or fail to meet tolerances

• Assist and collaborate with the Quality team in defect analysis, abnormality handling, and corrective action implementations

• Strictly comply with metrology management rules, quality system standards, and safe operating guidelines

• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by leadership

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology, Quality Engineering, or related technical disciplines

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in precision dimensional measurement, gauge calibration, or metrology lab operations in a manufacturing plant

• Advanced English

• Proficiency in reading 2D/3D technical drawings (GD&T)

• Proficiency in operating precision measurement instruments (CMM, micrometers, calipers, projectors)

• Proficiency in maintaining calibration ledgers

• Mandarin communication capability is preferred
