Assistant Equipment Engineer

About the role

Assistant Equipment Engineer responsible for driving equipment technology upgrades, commissioning, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the planning and execution of equipment technology upgrade, enhancement, and retrofitting projects

• Lead equipment commissioning (debugging), performance optimization, and control program/system improvements

• Formulate annual equipment maintenance and inspection schedules, develop equipment emergency response plans, standardize maintenance SOPs, and organize routine maintenance activities

• Investigate and analyze equipment abnormalities, guide production line breakdown handling, and drive the resolution of equipment-related quality defects

• Comply with company information security policies, supervise and report violations, and fulfill additional tasks assigned by superiors

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing plant equipment maintenance, commissioning, or machinery engineering

• Intermediate English

• Solid knowledge of machinery mechanics, electrical control systems, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and TPM practices

• Mandarin communication capability is preferred
