Material Control (Specialist & Assistant)

About the role

Material Control Specialist / Assistant Material Control Specialist role responsible for coordinating the end-to-end material requisition process for the Manufacturing Department, maintaining complete material master records, tracking incoming material shipments, monitoring shortages, and overseeing departmental material KPIs including inventory turnover and ordering system metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end material requisition process for the Manufacturing Department, review requirement plan adjustments, verify order quantities created by the team, and review purchase requests submitted via the Cloud Platform

• Maintain complete material master records (including manufacturing materials, FZ70 materials, and consumable/auxiliary goods) as well as delivery location master data

• Track all incoming material shipments, monitor shortages, follow up on issue resolution, and escalate critical risks promptly to ensure manufacturing lines run without interruption

• Oversee departmental material KPIs, including inventory turnover, ordering system metrics, and slow-moving/dead stock control; devise action plans for abnormalities to meet Business Division targets

• Track local material development progress, coordinate with R&D and Resource Development teams, and communicate with suppliers to ensure parts localization hits milestones

• Manage daily team routines, support member competency development, ensure order and delivery accuracy, enforce discipline, and foster a productive work atmosphere

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related technical disciplines

• Assistant Level: 1–3 years of relevant experience in material control, inventory tracking, or procurement planning (high-potential fresh graduates with strong internship background considered)

• Specialist Level: 3–5 years of proven experience in material requisition, shortage management, and inventory turnover control in large-scale manufacturing

• Advanced Chinese (Mandatory) and Advanced English

• Strong numerical analysis capabilities, proficiency in ERP/Cloud purchasing systems, solid understanding of BOM and material scheduling, and effective cross-cultural coordination skills
