Next.js Developer

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust web applications using Next.js and React frameworks

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Optimise application performance, focusing on speed, scalability, and user experience

• Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications work seamlessly across all devices and browsers

• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to resolve technical issues promptly

• Stay updated with the latest developments in Next.js, React, and related web technologies

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tooling

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working with Next.js and React, demonstrating strong proficiency in building modern web applications

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to write type-safe code

• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL integration

• Knowledge of state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git

• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• Experience with testing frameworks and unit testing practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Preferred experience with deployment platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or AWS

• Preferred experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or Tailwind CSS

• Preferred experience with agile development methodologies
