Dotnet Developer

What you'll be doing

• Develop, test, and deploy applications using the .NET framework and C# programming language

• Design and implement scalable software solutions that meet business requirements and performance standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software products

• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to established coding standards and best practices

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Debug and resolve software defects, troubleshoot issues, and optimise application performance

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications and systems

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies

• Integrate APIs and external services to enhance application functionality

• Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in production environments

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in .NET development, including proficiency in C# and the .NET framework

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git

• Experience with RESTful API development and integration

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Preferred experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, or Entity Framework

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services

• Experience with Agile development methodologies
