PHP Developer (Yii)

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Yii framework, ensuring code quality and best practices

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing applications

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Implement database design and optimisation strategies to enhance application performance

• Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications as required

• Stay updated with the latest PHP and Yii framework developments and industry best practices

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

What we're looking for

• Proven professional experience as a PHP Developer with demonstrated expertise in the Yii framework

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms

• Solid knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git

• Experience with RESTful API development and integration

• Familiarity with web security best practices and secure coding principles

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian

• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is advantageous

• Knowledge of Linux environments and command-line operations is preferred
