About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced MEP Engineer to join the engineering team at Konstruksi. This is a full-time position based in Bali, offering the opportunity to work on significant infrastructure and construction projects in a dynamic and growing market. As an MEP Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, planning, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our diverse project portfolio. This position offers the chance to contribute to the technical excellence and successful delivery of complex construction projects whilst working within a collaborative and innovative engineering environment.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory standards

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings, calculations, and technical documentation for construction projects

• Conduct system sizing, load calculations, and hydraulic/pneumatic analysis to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall project design

• Review and analyse contractor submissions, shop drawings, and equipment specifications for compliance and quality assurance

• Perform site inspections and provide technical supervision during the construction and installation phases

• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to address challenges during the design and construction stages

• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and resource planning for MEP work packages

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and sustainable design practices

• Maintain detailed project records and documentation for all MEP-related work

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in MEP design and engineering within the construction or building services industry

• Strong proficiency in MEP design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, fire protection, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems

• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting design, and electrical safety standards

• Solid expertise in plumbing design, including water supply systems, sanitary systems, and drainage solutions

• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to construction projects in Indonesia

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable

• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is advantageous
