About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surveyor to join the team at Konstruksi in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality and compliance of our construction projects. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements, site assessments and technical surveys that form the foundation of successful project delivery. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of construction excellence and ensuring projects are completed on time and within specifications.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting detailed site surveys and measurements using specialised surveying equipment and technology

• Preparing and maintaining accurate survey plans, drawings and documentation for construction projects

• Verifying site conditions, boundaries and existing structures to inform project planning and design

• Monitoring construction progress against survey specifications and design requirements

• Identifying and documenting variations, discrepancies and potential issues during construction phases

• Liaising with architects, engineers, project managers and contractors to ensure alignment on site requirements

• Performing setting-out works to establish reference points and establish construction parameters

• Conducting topographical surveys and creating detailed site plans

• Ensuring all survey work complies with relevant standards, regulations and client specifications

• Maintaining detailed records and reports of all survey activities and findings

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualification or certification in surveying (diploma or degree level minimum)

• Proven experience as a surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with 3+ years in a similar role

• Proficiency with surveying equipment including total stations, GPS systems, levels and laser distance measurers

• Strong knowledge of surveying software and CAD programmes for preparing plans and documentation

• Excellent mathematical and technical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams

• Physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions

• Knowledge of construction processes, materials and methodologies

• Understanding of local building codes, regulations and compliance requirements in Indonesia

• Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to identifying and resolving site issues

• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) and digital surveying technologies is desirable
