About the role

Konstruksi is seeking a talented Purchasing Konstruksi professional to join our dynamic team in Bali on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role within our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations, where you will be responsible for managing our purchasing and procurement activities. As Purchasing Konstruksi, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials, equipment and services that support our construction and manufacturing operations. Your strategic purchasing decisions will directly impact our project timelines, cost efficiency and overall operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability and competitive pricing

• Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions

• Preparing and issuing purchase orders whilst ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

• Managing supplier relationships and maintaining open communication channels to resolve any issues or discrepancies

• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with project teams to forecast material requirements

• Conducting cost analysis and seeking opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality

• Ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites

• Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes

• Liaising with finance, logistics and project management teams to streamline procurement processes

• Staying updated on market trends, commodity prices and supplier performance metrics

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the construction, manufacturing or logistics sector

• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier evaluation methodologies and contract management

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships

• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Demonstrated ability to analyse costs, identify savings opportunities and optimise procurement processes

• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and manage competing priorities

• Knowledge of purchasing regulations, compliance requirements and quality standards

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and market conditions

• Preferably, a qualification or certification in procurement or supply chain management (such as CIPS or equivalent)
