About the role

Konstruksi is seeking an experienced Purchasing Konstruksi professional to join our operations team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in our supply chain management and procurement operations. As Purchasing Konstruksi, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to our construction and logistics operations. This role is pivotal to ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness of our projects, directly contributing to the success of our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers and vendors for construction materials, equipment, and services

• Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value and quality standards

• Processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate documentation of all procurement activities

• Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability whilst minimising excess inventory costs

• Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors

• Coordinating delivery schedules and logistics to ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment

• Conducting quality inspections of received goods and resolving any discrepancies or issues with suppliers

• Analysing procurement data and costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Liaising with project managers and operational teams to understand material requirements and specifications

• Maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to procurement practices

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally within the construction or manufacturing sector

• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms

• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry-standard specifications

• Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement software

• Solid understanding of supply chain logistics and vendor management practices

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers, team members, and stakeholders

• Attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with local suppliers and market conditions in Bali is a distinct advantage

• Professional qualification in procurement or supply chain management is preferred
