Financial Controller & Business Analyst

Role Description:

Come2Indonesia is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Financial Controller & Business Analyst to work closely with the CEO and help strengthen the company’s financial controls, profitability, and overall business performance.

This role goes beyond traditional accounting. You will analyse financial and sales data, review commissions and profitability, identify risks or irregularities, and provide management with clear recommendations to support better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review monthly Profit & Loss statements, revenue, gross profit, margins, and operating expenses.
• Analyse financial performance and explain key variances to management.
• Compare actual results against budgets, targets, and previous periods.
• Review accounting records and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Conduct checks on invoices, supplier payments, airline tickets, reimbursements, expenses, and other transactions.
• Identify inconsistencies, duplicate payments, errors, or potential financial irregularities.
• Review and verify sales commission calculations.
• Reconcile sales reports with Odoo and accounting records.
• Analyse profitability by salesperson, product, destination, market, and sales channel.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve margins.
• Support management in defining sales targets and performance KPIs.
• Prepare clear management reports and recommendations for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Previous experience in financial control, financial analysis, internal audit, FP&A, accounting, or business analysis.
• Strong understanding of Profit & Loss, margins, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems; experience with Odoo is a strong advantage.
• Experience with reconciliations, internal controls, and financial reviews.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance managers.
• Independent and proactive working style.
• Professional proficiency in English.
