Cleaner

About the role

The Cleaner / Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness of all areas within the BGS Bali outlet, including public spaces, restrooms, staff areas, and the bar or shop environment. This role supports daily operations by ensuring the store is clean, presentable, and comfortable for both guests and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas including floors, windows, guest seating, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces

• Wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly throughout the day

• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly

• Ensure guest restrooms are clean, well-stocked, and regularly checked throughout the shift

• Refill tissue, soap, and other supplies as needed

• Maintain cleanliness in front-of-house areas such as entrances, walkways, and customer seating zones

• Support the team in keeping the bar or retail area tidy and visually appealing

• Follow daily cleaning checklists during opening and closing routines

• Assist in deep cleaning activities as scheduled (e.g., floor polishing, high-dusting, etc.)

• Respond promptly to cleaning or spill emergencies during operational hours

About you

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred

• Hospitality or retail experience is a plus

• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks efficiently

• Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented

• Able to follow instructions and work independently

• Basic Bahasa Indonesia communication; no English required but is a plus
