Barista

About the role

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering warm, genuine, and consistent service to every guest. As the front face of BGS Bali, the Barista maintains cleanliness, supports daily store routines, and upholds the brand's standard of excellence in every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, and other beverages according to BGS Bali's recipes and quality standards

• Operate coffee equipment (espresso machine, grinder, etc.) with precision and care

• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and presentation in every cup

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and genuine manner

• Handle orders efficiently and make product suggestions when appropriate

• Create a welcoming environment that reflects BGS Bali's service culture

• Support daily routines including bar setup, restocking, cleaning, and equipment maintenance

• Assist in opening and closing duties as scheduled by the Store Manager

• Maintain a solid understanding of menu items, ingredients, and seasonal offerings

• Work closely with fellow baristas and outlet team to ensure smooth service and workflow

About you

• Prior experience as a barista is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate

• Basic knowledge of coffee, espresso machine use, and hygiene practices

• Friendly, responsible, and service-oriented attitude

• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
