About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Cashier to join our team at PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras. This is a contract position based in South Tangerang, Banten. As Cashier at Cutt & Grill, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth operations at our point of sale. This role is integral to maintaining a positive customer experience and accurate financial management for our hospitality business.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately using the point of sale (POS) system for dining transactions

• Handle cash, card payments, and other payment methods with precision and honesty

• Provide courteous and professional service to customers at the checkout counter

• Balance cash registers at the beginning and end of each shift

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare daily financial reports

• Address customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security

• Keep the checkout area clean, organised and well-stocked with necessary supplies

• Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery

• Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality of financial transactions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar hospitality role

• Proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures

• Strong numerical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Customer service orientation with the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Honesty and integrity in financial management

• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant operations

• Indonesian language proficiency is essential

• Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
