Server Nelum

About the role

We are seeking a Server Nelum to join PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras on a contract basis. This is a customer-facing role based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, where you will be at the heart of our hospitality operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and meets our high standards of excellence. This position is crucial to maintaining our reputation for outstanding hospitality and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables in a professional and courteous manner

• Presenting menus and providing recommendations based on guests' preferences and dietary requirements

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff

• Serving food and beverages promptly whilst maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards

• Checking in regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and addressing any concerns immediately

• Managing table settings, clearing plates and resetting tables between seatings

• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately

• Maintaining knowledge of current menu items, specials, pricing and preparation methods

• Supporting the team in maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming dining environment

• Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times

What we're looking for

• Prior experience working as a server or in a waiting staff role within a hospitality or restaurant setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality service

• Ability to multitask effectively during busy service periods whilst maintaining composure and professionalism

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely

• Reliability, punctuality and a positive, team-oriented attitude

• Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred

• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous
