Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

This is a hotel marketing and sales position focused on developing comprehensive marketing strategies for hotel facilities, events, and MICE services to attract potential customers, both individual and corporate. The role involves identifying and reaching prospective clients, building strong relationships with existing clients, and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate comprehensive marketing strategies for room facilities, event organization (EO), and MICE services to attract potential customers

• Identify and reach prospective clients, including corporate accounts, travel agents, event organizers, and similar prospects

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure business continuity and repeat business

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize revenue

• Present hotel facilities and services to prospective clients, both directly and virtually

• Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to management

• Collaborate with the marketing team in executing promotional campaigns and various events

• Handle booking processes, including contract preparation, booking confirmation, and fulfilling all client needs

• Work closely with event organizers and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of conferences, meetings, and other events at the hotel

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client needs or issues and ensuring all requirements are met during their visit or stay

About you

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field

• Professional appearance, honest, disciplined, and responsible

• Strong communication skills and confidence

• Marketing experience in the hotel industry

• Extensive database and networking (Corporate, Government, MICE)

• Ready to be placed in East Jakarta
