Steward

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and back-of-house facilities.

• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, plates, glasses, and other equipment.

• Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are clean, properly stored, and ready for use.

• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and smooth daily operations.

• Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness of garbage disposal areas.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or kitchen management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a Steward or Dishwasher in a restaurant, café, hotel, or bakery is preferred.

• Understand basic kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.

• Physically fit, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable standing for extended periods.

• Detail-oriented, disciplined, responsible, and able to work well in a team.

• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
