Staff Canvasser

About the role

Responsible for executing direct canvassing and sales products to assigned vape stores in Jabodetabek. This role activates first purchases, delivers products, maintains visibility, performs weekly restocking, collects authorized payments, builds outlet relationships, and records accurate field data to expand distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the assigned territory and route plan, target eight productive outlet visits per day, and report route completion and exceptions to the Team Leader.

• Find and qualify prospective vape stores, validate outlet information, complete required KYC and registration, and maintain accurate contact and location data.

• Present products and approved first-buy packages, explain prices and commercial terms clearly, address objections, and close the outlet's first order.

• Achieve minimum sales of IDR 500,000 per day and improve conversion, order value, product mix, and repeat purchasing within assigned outlets.

• Deliver or hand over products accurately, verify quantities and condition, obtain required proof of receipt, and protect company stock during field activity.

• Place approved visibility materials, ensure products are displayed properly, and document execution in accordance with brand and outlet guidelines.

• Monitor stock movement and sell-through, identify reorder needs, and conduct direct weekly restocking to prevent out-of-stock conditions.

• Collect authorized payments, issue or obtain official supporting documents, and submit cash, transfer evidence, and receivable updates accurately and on time.

• Build professional relationships with owners and store staff, respond to service issues, and encourage sustainable repeat buying.

• Record every visit, order, stock position, visibility result, payment status, competitor activity, and outlet feedback through approved reporting tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Senior High School or Vocational School graduate; Diploma qualification is preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in canvassing, field sales, direct selling, or route-based distribution is preferred.

• Experience serving vape stores, traditional retail, FMCG, tobacco, or consumer products is an advantage.

• Familiar with Jabodetabek routes and able to use digital maps to locate and plan outlet visits.

• Able to use a smartphone, mobile sales applications, digital forms, messaging tools, and basic spreadsheets.

• Able to perform basic sales calculations and handle stock, cash, payment evidence, and outlet documents accurately.

• Owns or has reliable access to a motorcycle and holds a valid motorcycle driving license.

• Persuasive communication, selling, negotiation, and customer-service skills.

• Target-oriented, resilient, proactive, disciplined, and comfortable working independently in the field.

• Physically able and willing to travel throughout the day, work outdoors, and carry product samples or reasonable stock quantities.
