ABOUT THE ROLE :

We’re looking for a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Senior Designer who understands that great design is not just about aesthetics, but also about functionality, cost efficiency, and operational needs in a fast-growing F&B business.

This role is more than just creating beautiful spaces. You’ll be responsible for developing interior design concepts from initial planning and space planning to 3D visualization, technical drawings, and on-site implementation. You’ll translate creative ideas into practical, buildable designs while ensuring consistency with Dikichi’s design standards, project budgets, timelines, and operational requirements.

You’ll work closely with Project, Construction, Operations, Marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure every design is delivered effectively from concept to completion. If you enjoy transforming creative concepts into functional spaces, managing multiple projects, and working in an ultra-fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

• Develop Interior Design Concepts – Create and develop interior design concepts, space planning, layouts, and design directions aligned with project requirements and brand identity.

• Create Design Presentations & 3D Visualizations – Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material selections, and 3D renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.

• Prepare Technical Drawings – Develop, review, and evaluate technical drawings, construction details, material specifications, and other design documentation.

• Drive Design Development – Translate creative concepts into functional, practical, and buildable solutions while considering aesthetics, technical feasibility, budget, and project timelines.

• Standardize Outlet Designs – Develop and refine interior design standards for new outlet openings, renovations, and other commercial interior projects.

• Manage Multiple Design Projects – Handle several projects simultaneously while ensuring design deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.

• Coordinate Cross-Functional Implementation – Collaborate with Project, Construction, Operations, Marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth design development and execution.

• Ensure Design Quality on Site – Monitor implementation and verify that on-site execution aligns with approved design concepts, technical drawings, and material specifications.

• Identify & Resolve Design Challenges – Anticipate potential design, construction, and technical issues and provide effective, practical solutions.

• Maintain Design Quality & Timelines – Manage design revisions, changing priorities, and urgent requests while maintaining accuracy and quality under tight deadlines.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

• Have 3–5 years of experience in interior design or architecture, preferably in F&B, retail, or commercial interior projects.

• Are proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape for technical drawings and 3D visualization.

• Have strong skills in concept development, space planning, mood boards, 3D rendering, and technical drawing preparation.

• Understand construction details, material specifications, finishing, furniture, and architectural and interior implementation methods.

• Have experience handling projects from concept development through implementation.

• Are experienced in managing multiple projects with dynamic priorities and tight deadlines.

• Can work independently with minimal supervision and make sound technical design decisions.

• Have strong communication, coordination, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Are detail-oriented, proactive, accountable, and committed to maintaining high design standards.

• Are adaptable to changing project requirements and comfortable working in an ultra-fast-paced environment.

• Have flexible working hours and are willing to support urgent project requirements when necessary.

• Are willing to complete a design assessment within 2 × 24 hours of receiving the assignment.
