WE’RE HIRING!
Financial Planning & Analysis Executive
📍 Location: East Java
ABOUT US:
Established in 2024 in Malang, Indonesia, PT Dua Pendekar Ayam is the powerhouse behind Dikichi — a bold fried chicken brand on a mission to serve high-quality, affordable fried chicken to the masses.
Our ambition? To become Indonesia’s No. 1 fried chicken brand and take it global.
At PT Dua Pendekar Ayam, culture is everything. We’re bold, fun, and impact-driven. Speed, resilience, agility, collaboration, and extreme ownership are not just values — they’re how we win. Here, people don’t just work. They grow, lead, and thrive.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, and business-minded Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Staff who understands that accurate financial planning and insightful analysis are essential to driving sustainable growth in a rapidly expanding F&B business.
This role is more than just preparing financial reports. You’ll be responsible for developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts, analyzing budget versus actual performance, building financial models and management dashboards, and evaluating outlet profitability and operational cost efficiency. You’ll also support investment feasibility assessments for new outlets and renovations, as well as cash flow projections to support business and funding decisions.
You’ll work closely with Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, and senior management to translate financial data into actionable business insights. If you enjoy working with numbers, identifying financial opportunities, and turning complex data into clear recommendations, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Develop Annual Budgets & Financial Forecasts – Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts covering revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and operating expenses (OPEX) at the outlet level.
Conduct Budget vs. Actual Analysis – Analyze monthly financial performance against budget, identify significant variances, investigate their underlying causes, and provide clear explanations and recommendations.
Build Financial Models & Dashboards – Develop and maintain financial models, management dashboards, and periodic reports to support financial monitoring and business decision-making.
Analyze Outlet & Product Profitability – Evaluate outlet performance, menu and product profitability, and operational cost efficiency to identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimization.
Evaluate Investment & CAPEX Feasibility – Prepare financial feasibility analyses for new outlet openings and renovations, including investment requirements, projected returns, and financial impact.
Prepare Cash Flow Forecasts – Develop cash flow projections to support liquidity planning, funding decisions, and the company's short- and medium-term financial needs.
Deliver Management Insights & Recommendations – Prepare financial presentations and data-driven recommendations for the CFO and management to support strategic and operational decisions.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Financial Planning – Work closely with Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, and other relevant teams to collect, validate, and align financial data, assumptions, and business projections.
Monitor Financial Performance & Key Metrics – Track relevant financial indicators, identify emerging trends and potential risks, and provide insights into business performance and financial sustainability.
Improve Financial Reporting Processes – Enhance the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial analysis, reporting tools, and planning processes to support a growing multi-outlet business.
YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
Hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, or a related field.
Have at least 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Analysis, or a related finance role; experience in the F&B industry is preferred.
Have a solid understanding of financial statements, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
Are proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and XLOOKUP, with strong financial modeling skills.
Have experience using ERP systems or accounting software; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical accuracy skills.
Are able to interpret financial data, identify business trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Have good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present financial insights clearly to management.
Are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
Can work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Are willing to be based in Malang, East Java, and conduct outlet visits when required.
Have experience in the F&B, retail, FMCG, or other multi-outlet business environments is an advantage.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As Dikichi continues to grow and expand its restaurant network, strong financial planning and analysis are essential to ensuring that business growth remains profitable, efficient, and financially sustainable. Understanding the financial performance of each outlet helps the company make better decisions about resource allocation, cost control, and future investments.
As an Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Staff member, you’ll play an important role in connecting financial performance with business strategy. Through budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and investment evaluation, your insights will help management identify opportunities, anticipate financial risks, and make informed decisions about outlet expansion and operational improvements.
This is an opportunity to contribute directly to Dikichi’s growth by transforming financial data into meaningful business insights and helping build a more effective, data-driven financial planning process.
