WE’RE HIRING!

QC & Food Safety Executive

📍 Location: Malang, East Java

ABOUT US:

Established in 2024 in Malang, Indonesia, PT Dua Pendekar Ayam is the powerhouse behind Dikichi — a bold fried chicken brand on a mission to serve high-quality, affordable fried chicken to the masses.

Our ambition? To become Indonesia’s No. 1 fried chicken brand and take it global.

At PT Dua Pendekar Ayam, culture is everything. We’re bold, fun, and impact-driven. Speed, resilience, agility, collaboration, and extreme ownership are not just values — they’re how we win. Here, people don’t just work. They grow, lead, and thrive.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive QC & Food Safety Senior Staff who understands that consistent product quality, food safety, and compliance with food handling standards are essential to building customer trust in a growing F&B business.

This role is more than just conducting quality inspections. You’ll be responsible for performing internal audits across outlets, evaluating finished product quality through organoleptic testing, investigating customer complaints, monitoring raw material quality, and developing SOPs related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and halal compliance.

You’ll work closely with Store Operations, Central Kitchen, Purchasing, and other relevant departments to ensure that quality standards are consistently implemented across all outlets. If you are passionate about food quality, enjoy identifying operational improvements, and have a strong understanding of food safety standards, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Conduct Internal Quality Audits – Perform scheduled internal audits across outlets to assess compliance with GMP, product quality, food safety, and halal standards in line with company targets.

  • Evaluate Finished Product Quality – Conduct organoleptic evaluations of finished products at outlets, ensuring that taste, aroma, texture, and other quality attributes meet established specifications.

  • Investigate Customer Complaints – Investigate product quality and food safety complaints, identify root causes, coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments, and monitor follow-up implementation.

  • Develop Quality & Food Safety SOPs – Prepare, review, and update SOPs and supporting documents related to food safety, GMP, product quality, and halal compliance.

  • Monitor Raw Material Quality – Conduct periodic inspections and evaluations of raw materials received from suppliers to ensure they meet established quality and safety specifications.

  • Conduct Food Safety Training – Deliver training on basic food handling, food safety, GMP, and halal practices to relevant employees to strengthen awareness and compliance.

  • Monitor Corrective & Preventive Actions – Follow up on audit findings, non-conformities, and improvement plans to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.

  • Prepare Audit Reports & Documentation – Maintain accurate audit records, inspection results, complaint investigation reports, and other quality-related documentation.

  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Improvements – Collaborate with Store Operations, Central Kitchen, Purchasing, and other departments to address quality issues and maintain consistent standards across operations.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

  • Hold a minimum D3/S1 degree in Food Technology, Agricultural Product Technology, Fisheries Product Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC).

  • Have experience working in food processing manufacturing or restaurant operations, preferably with experience conducting internal audits.

  • Understand HACCP, GMP, Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH), Sertifikat Laik Sehat, and ISO 22000.

  • Possess good internal auditing skills, including identifying non-conformities and evaluating corrective actions.

  • Have a good understanding of food safety, raw material quality, product specifications, and quality control procedures.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause investigation skills.

  • Have good communication and coordination skills to work effectively across departments.

  • Are detail-oriented, systematic, and capable of maintaining accurate quality documentation.

  • Are able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and conduct outlet visits as required.

  • Have strong ownership and a proactive mindset in maintaining and improving quality standards.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:

As Dikichi continues to grow and expand its restaurant network, maintaining consistent product quality and food safety standards across every outlet becomes increasingly important. Every product served to our customers must meet established specifications and comply with the company’s quality, hygiene, and halal requirements.

As a QC & Food Safety Senior Staff, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding product quality, strengthening food safety practices, and ensuring that operational standards are consistently implemented across outlets. Through audits, investigations, training, and continuous improvement, your work will help minimize quality risks and support a safer, more reliable customer experience.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Dikichi’s quality assurance practices while contributing to a strong food safety culture as the business continues to grow and expand.
