(RPO) Export & Import Executive – Pasuruan – WFO (ID: 714217)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export & Import Executive to join one of PT PERSOL RECRUITMENT INDONESIA's client company in Pasuruan, East Java. This is a full-time, office-based position where you will play a crucial role in managing our import and export operations. As an Export & Import Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing customs documentation, compliance, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth cross-border trade operations. This position is vital to maintaining our company's reputation for reliable and efficient international trade services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process export and import documentation including invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of origin

• Coordinate with customs authorities and freight forwarders to ensure compliance with import and export regulations

• Monitor shipment status and track goods throughout the supply chain to ensure timely delivery

• Verify accuracy of shipping documents and ensure all required information is complete and correct

• Liaise with internal departments, customers, and external partners to facilitate smooth trade transactions

• Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions and documentation

• Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies and customs clearance issues

• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade policies

• Assist in optimising trade procedures and identifying cost-saving opportunities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in import/export operations or customs clearance, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment

• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, documentation requirements, and international trade regulations

• Familiarity with customs management systems and trade compliance software

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve documentation errors

• Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Indonesian

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously

• Experience with freight forwarding, logistics coordination, and supply chain management is advantageous

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems

• Knowledge of Harmonised Tariff Codes (HS codes) and duty classification is preferred

• Certification in customs or international trade (such as FIATA or equivalent) is a plus
