Junior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Stilt Studios is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Bali. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career in the surveying and construction industry. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting our project delivery by managing costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring projects remain within budget. This position is based on-site in Bali, where you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience in quantity surveying within a collaborative construction environment.

What you'll be doing

• Requirements:

  - Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or related

  - Min. 1 year experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation

  - Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings

  - Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  - Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM tools

  - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills

  Responsibilities:

  - Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates

  - Develop BOQ and cost breakdown (material & labor)

  - Evaluate and compare supplier/vendor quotations

  - Coordinate with project, site, and procurement teams

What we're looking for

• A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline (HND, degree or equivalent)

• Strong numeracy and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and measurement work

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

• Ability to work independently whilst also being a collaborative team player

• Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and contract procedures

• Familiarity with standard forms of contract and contract administration

• Willingness to learn and develop professional competencies within a supportive environment

• Previous internship or graduate experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management is desirable
