About the Role

PISON Group is seeking a hardworking, passionate, and detail-oriented Junior Cook to join our culinary team in Seminyak, Bali. In this role, you will support daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food production, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all dishes meet our quality and food safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with daily kitchen operations and food preparation under the guidance of the Chef de Partie or Senior Cook

• Prepare, wash, cut, portion, and organize ingredients according to recipes and kitchen requirements

• Assist in preparing and cooking dishes while following established recipes and quality standards

• Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently according to company standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils

• Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and FIFO procedures

• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation at all times

• Assist with stock checking, receiving ingredients, and reporting shortages or damaged items

• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods and ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Junior Cook, Cook Helper, or in a similar kitchen role

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques

• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and kitchen procedures accurately

• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work well under pressure

• Passion for culinary and hospitality industry
