Japanese Interpreter

About the role

Japanese Interpreter/Translator position for a Japanese automotive client located in Karawang. The role involves providing interpretation and translation services to support communication between Japanese and non-Japanese staff across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide interpretation during meetings and discussions between Japanese and non-Japanese staff

• Translate documents, emails, manuals, and reports from Indonesia to Japanese and vice versa

• Support communication and translate on the morning meeting, daily meeting, factory floor tours, etc.

• Assist Japanese employees or guests in their daily communication needs within the company

• Translate technical information and technical language in Genba (factory)

About you

• Minimum SMA/SMK education

• Intermediate to advanced level of Japanese language proficiency

• Minimum JLPT N2 certification

• Actively using Japanese language

• Experience in translation and/or interpreting in manufacture, preferably from automotive/electrical/Japanese manufacture

• Knowledge and skills in technical language
