Head of IT (Food Manufacturing/FMCG)

Are you an experienced IT leader ready to drive technology transformation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We are looking for a Head of Information Technology to lead the overall IT function, strengthen technology infrastructure and enterprise applications, and accelerate digital transformation across manufacturing and business operations.

This role requires a strong combination of strategic leadership and hands-on understanding of IT operations, ERP, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and manufacturing technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business growth and operational priorities.

• Lead the overall IT function covering IT Infrastructure, Applications, Data, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations.

• Drive digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, and administrative operations.

• Oversee the implementation, development, and optimization of ERP and enterprise applications, including integration between business and operational systems.

• Manage and optimize Odoo ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) environments.

• Lead system integration initiatives using API and other integration architecture to ensure reliable data flow across platforms.

• Oversee IT infrastructure including network, servers, WiFi, CCTV, access control, backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.

• Support manufacturing technology and automation initiatives, including integration with warehouse automation, AGV, ASRS, and other industrial systems.

• Establish strong IT governance, information security, risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.

• Lead the development of data architecture, system integration, Business Intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

• Manage IT projects from planning and budgeting through implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Manage IT budgets, technology investments, vendors, contracts, licensing, and service providers.

• Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing IT team while strengthening collaboration between IT and business functions.

• Partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, HR, Sales, and other business functions to identify opportunities where technology can improve productivity and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Master's Degree is an advantage.

• Strong experience in a senior IT leadership position such as Head of IT, IT General Manager, Senior IT Manager, or equivalent.

• Preferably experienced in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Manufacturing, or other large-scale operational environments.

• Strong understanding of ERP, WMS, MES, enterprise applications, and system integration.

• Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, servers, cloud/on-premise environments, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery.

• Exposure to Industry 4.0, manufacturing automation, IoT, AGV, ASRS, or smart factory initiatives will be a strong advantage.

• Good understanding of data management, Business Intelligence, analytics, and integration architecture.

• Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects, vendors, budgets, and technology transformation initiatives.

• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

• Able to translate business requirements into practical and scalable technology solutions.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and operationally complex manufacturing environment.
