About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher to join our teaching team at Veritas Intercultural School Bali. This is a full-time position based in Badung, Bali, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners in a dynamic, multicultural setting. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be instrumental in creating engaging learning experiences that foster academic growth, creativity, and character development in our students. This role is central to our mission of providing quality intercultural education and developing well-rounded individuals who are prepared for future success.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school's curriculum framework and educational standards

• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds of all students

• Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, and providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement

• Developing and implementing strategies that encourage critical thinking, creativity and independent learning skills

• Collaborating with fellow educators, parents and school leadership to support student development and well-being

• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress and behavioural development

• Participating actively in school events, extracurricular activities and professional development opportunities

• Fostering an appreciation for intercultural understanding and helping students develop respect for diverse perspectives and backgrounds

• Managing classroom behaviour and creating a safe, supportive learning environment where all students feel valued

What we're looking for

• A recognized teaching qualification or degree in Education, with specialisation in primary or elementary education

• Proven experience teaching at primary or elementary level, preferably in an international or multicultural school setting

• Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents and colleagues

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver creative, interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles

• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous

• A genuine passion for education and commitment to supporting the holistic development of young learners

• Flexibility, adaptability and a collaborative approach to working within a school community

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple classroom responsibilities effectively

• Current or ability to obtain a valid teaching certification or license as required by Indonesian educational regulations
