Job Summary

Desa Kitsune is looking for a hardworking, disciplined, and reliable DW Steward to support the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall hygiene of our kitchen and F&B operational areas.

The ideal candidate must understand proper cleaning and sanitation procedures, maintain high standards of personal hygiene, and demonstrate a strong commitment to cleanliness, teamwork, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and designated F&B operational spaces.

Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other operating equipment according to established standards.

Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried, stored, and arranged in their designated areas.

Assist kitchen and F&B teams in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety procedures.

Follow established hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.

Assist with waste segregation and ensure rubbish is disposed of properly in designated areas.

Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, garbage areas, and other assigned workspaces.

Monitor the condition of stewarding equipment and promptly report any damage, malfunction, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.

Support kitchen cleaning schedules, deep-cleaning activities, and other stewarding duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen and F&B teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Comply with all company policies, standard operating procedures, and management instructions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Steward or in a similar position within the hospitality industry.

Basic knowledge of kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Familiarity with dishwashing procedures and the proper handling of kitchen equipment.

Able to perform operational duties in a fast-paced environment.

Strong sense of cleanliness, discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Honest, hardworking, punctual, and well-groomed.

Able to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.

Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and busy event periods when required.

Demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong commitment to maintaining professional hospitality standards.
