About the role
This role involves leading and supervising a team of Territory/Sales Representatives, with responsibility for achieving team sales revenue targets and managing territory operations.
Key responsibilities
Leads and supervises a team of Territory/Sales Representatives
Achieves team sales revenue targets
Plans and organizes weekly and daily schedules to call on existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new or potential accounts
Performs product presentations and in-services, and product evaluations to existing and new or potential accounts
Submits orders promptly with accurate billing information in accordance with price guide
Prepares quotation and tender documents
Maintains healthy inventory by establishing correct consignment stock levels, performing stock rotation to minimize write-off, and removing expired stock promptly
Ensures all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards and that documented processes, procedures, and internal quality management systems are followed
Submits activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
Presents sales reviews including market share analysis, sales forecast, and territory management
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
Develops strong KOL relationships and identifies upcoming doctors for business continuity
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and promotions
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
Maintains records on area and customer sales
Candidate Requirements:
Relevant experience in Interventional Cardiology, preferably within the medical device industry.
Prior supervisory or people-management experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
Proactive, results-oriented, and hands-on, with the ability to lead from the front and take ownership of business performance.
Strong leadership and people-management skills, particularly in motivating and challenging experienced team members.
Able to push team members beyond their comfort zones while providing appropriate guidance, coaching, and support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with the Country Manager and National Sales Manager.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a high-performing, motivated, and accountable team.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Possess a valid driving license and own a car.
