Assistant Manager Machining & Maintenance

Job Description

As an Assistant Manager Machining & Maintenance, you will play an important role in ensuring effective shop floor operations, equipment performance, continuous improvement, and achievement of departmental targets through strong leadership and team development.

• Manage Machining & Maintenance operations and shop floor activities based on SQCD.

• Set, monitor, and control departmental KPIs.

• Lead SQCD and continuous improvement activities.

• Manage and control manpower/resources in Machining & Maintenance.

• Monitor production and equipment performance.

• Identify and solve operational and technical problems.

• Develop and supervise team members to achieve department targets.

Requirements

• Minimum D3 Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Machining, Maintenance Engineering, or Manufacturing.

• Experience as Manufacturing Manager/Assistant Manager or Maintenance Manager/Assistant Manager is preferred.

• Good knowledge of Machining and Maintenance processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of SQCD, KPI management, and continuous improvement.
