About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join our growing team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting accuracy of Konstruksi. As an Accounting professional, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing timely financial reporting to support key business decisions. This role is essential to our finance department and directly contributes to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Recording, classifying, and reconciling financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring accuracy of all entries

• Conducting bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner

• Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking

• Performing journal entries and adjustments to ensure accurate financial records

• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations

• Maintaining accurate and organised financial documentation and records

• Supporting internal and external audit procedures as required

• Identifying and recommending process improvements to enhance financial efficiency

What we're looking for

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, AAT, or equivalent recognised certification

• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, typically 2-5 years in a relevant role

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and best practices

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous

• Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial calculations

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with team members

• Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies

• Experience in the construction industry or similar project-based environments is preferred
