About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architecture Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bali. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of our architectural projects. As an Architecture Engineer, you will bridge the gap between conceptual design and practical implementation, ensuring that our innovative designs are translated into buildable, compliant, and sustainable structures. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors to oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using industry-standard CAD and BIM software

• Conduct site surveys and analyses to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers, MEP consultants, and construction specialists to ensure integrated design solutions

• Prepare and present design concepts and technical proposals to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams

• Review construction documentation and ensure adherence to design intent during the build phase

• Provide technical support on site, addressing design queries and coordinating with contractors to resolve construction issues

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to optimise design solutions within budget constraints

• Ensure all projects meet sustainability standards and environmental regulations

• Maintain project schedules and documentation, liaising with clients and project teams to track progress

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in architectural design and technical delivery

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM methodology

• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards applicable to the Asia-Pacific region

• Demonstrated experience with architectural project management and coordination

• Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills with attention to precision

• Strong communication and presentation abilities in English

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience with sustainable and green building design principles (LEED, BREEAM, or equivalent) is highly desirable

• Knowledge of local Balinese building traditions and cultural considerations is advantageous

• Valid professional registration or licensure as an architect or architectural engineer is preferred
