Wellsite Geologist

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in the same field (as a Wellsite Geologist)

• Honest, disciplined, and responsible

• Demonstrates good initiative and enthusiasm

• Able to work under pressure

• Willing to be assigned to remote areas and flexible regarding work location

• Physically and mentally healthy

• Able to collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds - Able to communicate effectively.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee QAQC sample preparation activities, including health, safety, and environmental (K3LH) aspects and the implementation of SOPs in the field

• Document and record QAQC sample preparation data

• Manage the process of shipping prepared samples to the laboratory

• Enter data and archive field documents

• Conduct inventory and maintenance of work equipment

• Assist with other activities within the scope of exploration operations

Job Objectives

• Drilling operations are conducted in accordance with OHS&E (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and established SOPs

• Field data is properly collected in accordance with applicable SOPs

• Data is accurately entered, archived, and properly maintained

• Work equipment is consistently maintained and kept in good condition
