Underwriter Expert Program

Underwriters are responsible for calculating, analyzing, and assessing risks. They arrange insurance coverage, propose insurance terms and conditions, provide risk recommendations, and negotiate reinsurance placements.

To support the development of future underwriting professionals, successful candidates will join the Underwriter Expert Program, a structured 6-month development program designed to build technical knowledge, business understanding, and underwriting expertise. Participants will undergo comprehensive training with focuses on developing participants into underwriting specialists through an expert track aligned with Asuransi Astra’s business needs.

As part of the program, participants will be developed within one of the following underwriting specializations:

• Marine & Aviation: Manage risks and insurance coverage related to marine cargo, hull, logistics, and aviation businesses.
• Property & Casualty: Assess and underwrite risks for property, industrial assets, and general liability insurance.
• Energy, Engineering & Major Risks: Handle complex risks associated with energy, construction, infrastructure, and large-scale industrial projects.
• Heavy Equipment & Miscellaneous: Heavy equipment, machinery, and various specialized commercial risks.
• Health: Evaluate and manage underwriting risks for corporate and individual health insurance products.
• Retail Product Management: Develop, manage, and optimize retail insurance products to meet market needs and business objectives.

Kualifikasi

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering (Master Degree with related major/same major are welcome to apply)
• Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply
• Has Non-Academic Achievement will be a plus.
