Translator Mandarin

About the role

Provide Mandarin–Indonesian and Indonesian–Mandarin translation during daily warehouse operations. Assist communication between Chinese managers, warehouse staff, and other related departments.

Key responsibilities

• Translate warehouse documents, reports, work instructions, and operational information

• Accompany Chinese supervisors during warehouse inspections, briefings, and coordination meetings

• Assist in communicating instructions related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods

• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, inventory, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operations

• Support administrative tasks and other translation-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

About you

• Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree in Chinese Literature

• Fresh graduate welcome to apply

• Able to communicate fluently in Mandarin and Indonesian, both verbally and in writing

• Minimum HSK 4 certification or equivalent Mandarin proficiency is preferred

• Previous experience as a translator or interpreter in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred

• Understand basic warehouse and logistics terminology, such as inventory, receiving, stocktaking, and delivery

• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under pressure
