Technical Writer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Documentation / Technical Writer who will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and managing technical and project documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. The role will work closely with Application Architects, Developers, Engineers, QA teams, Product Owners, and business users.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project documentation including Project Charter, Scope of Work (SOW), Application Blueprint, Project Timeline, and Project Milestones

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including System Architecture Diagrams, Application Architecture Documentation, Database Design Documentation, Data Flow Diagrams, API Documentation, and Application Integration Documentation

• Maintain development documentation including Change Requests, Change Logs, Version Control Notes, and Issue Tracking Documentation

• Prepare testing and deployment documentation including SAT Documentation, UAT Documentation, Test Plans, Test Cases, Bug Tracking Documentation, Deployment Documentation, and Application Rollout Documentation

• Develop User Manuals and Administrator Guides

• Gather user requirements and supporting project information

• Coordinate documentation activities with Application Architects, Full-Stack Engineers, QA teams, Product Owners, analysts, and users

• Ensure project documentation remains accurate, structured, complete, and updated throughout the project lifecycle

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Writing, IT Project Documentation, System Documentation, or related roles

• Educational background in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Familiar with Agile development methodology

• Experience documenting Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, and Non-Functional Requirements

• Familiar with System Architecture, Database concepts, APIs, and Application Integration

• Knowledge of testing documentation including Test Plans, Test Cases, SAT, and UAT

• Experience creating User Manuals and technical documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and/or English

• Strong attention to detail and document management skills

• Able to coordinate effectively with developers, analysts, QA teams, Product Owners, and users
