SERVICE CAPTAIN / SENIOR WAITER

DOEUN brings together Korean culinary heritage, fire-driven cooking, and thoughtful hospitality. We are looking for experienced service professionals who take pride in looking after guests and setting a strong example on the floor.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive service throughout the guest journey.

• Manage your assigned section, ensuring accurate orders, smooth service timing, and thoughtful follow-up.

• Explain menus confidently and recommend dishes, beverages, and pairings suited to each guest.

• Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and reception team.

• Recognize guest preferences, anticipate needs, and handle concerns professionally.

• Maintain table presentation, cleanliness, and readiness before, during, and after service.

• Support junior staff through practical guidance and teamwork.

• For Service Captain: lead your section, assign duties, conduct briefings, and ensure service standards are consistently followed.

Who We’re Looking For

• Relevant experience as a Captain or Senior Waiter, preferably in premium dining, a steakhouse, or an established restaurant.

• Strong knowledge of service sequence, table etiquette, and guest care.

• Confident communication in Bahasa Indonesia and conversational English.

• A professional appearance, positive attitude, and attention to detail.

• Ability to stay calm, organized, and responsive during busy service.

• Willingness to learn Korean cuisine, ingredients, and DOEUN’s service philosophy.

• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
